The process of obtaining HSP is carried out step-by-step in sterile and controlled conditions. Below you can find the details of each stage and its clinical meaning.
The entire HSP process is completed in a short time on average and provides a directly applicable output. The duration may vary depending on the patient and clinical conditions; details are planned by the physician who will perform the application.
Blood Collection
A small amount of venous blood is collected from the patient under sterile conditions. This procedure is performed in accordance with standard phlebotomy protocols. The antecubital vein in the forearm is generally used.
Clinical note: The amount of blood to be drawn is determined according to the planned application volume and clinical indication.
Centrifugation
The collected blood is processed in a specially calibrated centrifuge device at controlled speed and duration. Centrifugation is a critical step to separate the components of the blood and isolate the plasma fraction.
Clinical note: Centrifuge parameters (RPM, duration, temperature) are standardized so that HSP can be produced in consistent quality.
Plasma Separation
The plasma-serum component is carefully separated as a result of centrifugation. The liquid obtained at this stage; contains plasma proteins such as albumin, globulin, and fibrinogen.
Clinical note: At this step, the plasma obtained is not yet in solid form — it is converted to semi-solid form by the device process in the next step.
Loading the HSP Device
The obtained plasma-serum is drawn into the syringe and loaded through the "Sample INPUT" of the HSP device. The device is ready to initiate the automatic protocol.
Clinical note: Sterile technique is maintained during loading; a closed system is used to prevent device contamination.
Device Process (Controlled Heat Denaturation)
The HSP device processes the albumin fraction in the plasma with controlled heat denaturation. This stage is the heart of HSP technology; proteins become a solid/semi-solid matrix.
Clinical note: No chemicals are added in this process; the conversion is based entirely on the thermal control principle.
Output Ready for the Physician
When the process is complete, the Human Solid Plasma taken from the "Sample OUTPUT" section is ready for use by the physician according to clinical indication.
Clinical note: Since the output is autologous, it is used shortly after production to be applied to the same patient.
